Greyhound was founded in Hibbing Minnesota over a century ago and the bus line is still in service today. This 7 1/2” long stamped metal bus has some minor scratches but the logos are clean and in good shape. The wheels have the silver plated Buddy L logos on each of the 6 tires, which was unique to versions originally manufactured in Japan. The bottom is stamped “Made in Japan” “© 1979” “Buddy L Corp” and “Manufactured under license of the Greyhound Corp.”

Trick Dog Coin Bank

Reproduction vintage collectable
The Tricky Dog Bank has gone through several versions since the original model sold in the 1930’s. This is a reproduction using the original mold. It’s made of heavyweight cast iron and painted by hand. The whimsical circus design springs to life when a coin is set into the dog’s mouth. Press the lever on the side, and Trick Dog jumps through the hoop and drops the coin in the barrel. Works great, spring is strong. The paint job is in great condition with very little wear for it’s age. No rust, dings or scratches.
The stamp on the bottom says TAIWAN and has a patent number. Includes the original rubber stopper. Take the stopper out to retrieve coins. Trick Dog Bank measures 8 1/4″ x 4″ x 7″ tall and weighs almost 4 pounds! Some other reproductions are a smaller 7″ length.

This is an unused vintage Tonka Truck in like new condition from 2001. It’s a big 14” long and 6” tall. and features a heavyweight stamped metal yellow cab and tilting bed with black molded bumper, wheel flairs and undercarriage. NO RUST, no dents, no scratches or scuffs. The windows are clean and clear. Paint and markings are in great condition right down to the original Tonka decals and chromed Tonka lettering on each of the wheels. Excellent condition for an item two decades old.

1993 24” Tonka Fire Rescue Engine No. 5 Boom Ladder Truck

Here’s a TWO FOOT LONG Tonka fire truck from the early 90’s! It’s made of molded plastic, but it’s still classic Tonka with lots of details and all the bells and whistles, indcluding flashing lights. Push a button and the Fire Captain starts shouting orders to various crew members including Chief the dog!. It even second guesses your moves, telling you not to move the ladder too fast, and when you put the ladder down the Captain complements you for completing the task! Engine idling sound effects and sirens included!
The extension ladder and bucket are missing but can be replaced. The windows are scratched, and could be replaced or removed. Other than that it’s in great shape with only small blemishes.

1993 Ertl Texaco Gasoline Tanker Truck Bank

The Iowa-based Ertl Company has been making collectable toys since 1945. One of their classics is the Texaco Gasoline Tanker, a 1939 Dodge Airflow Truck with 6 wheels.
In 1993, Ertl produced a reproduction of the original and now it’s a desirable collectable too. The truck measures 8 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. It’s made of heavyweight die-cast metal with 6 rubber wheels. It’s got a heavyweight feel and a thick solid paint coat in the classic dark red Texaco color. The top has a coin slot. The key lock and door on the underside are missing.
Classic 1930’s Texaco markings adorn each door and back of the truck. The TEXACO logo is heavily embossed into each side of the tanker. There’s no rust, no dings or dents and the paint job is nearly perfect.

Transformers are the popular vehicle-into-robot characters today, but GoBots were the original, introduced a year before the first Transformers came out. Tonka bought the line from Bandai, originally Popy of Japan. These are five classic first edition vintage collectables:

Each GoBot is like a puzzle and takes some figuring out to make them work. These are fairly intricate and clever designs, making them very collectable. This set is unnamed, usually referred to as “Robo Series” GoBots.
This set has been used and played with minimally. The Flip Top Helicopter is missing the small rotor and the Flip Top Forklift is missing the console. But otherwise the set is in great shape with original paint and sticker markings.

1982 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Metal Lunch Box with Thermos

E.T. was a groundbreaking film, and this metal lunch box complete with Thermos features major scenes from the movie, including young stars Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, and of course E.T., the alien left behind on Earth in the early 80’s.
The lunch box is well used and even has the name of the original owner in his own handwriting on the top outside edge AND under the lid too. Jason did NOT want to lose this lunch box. Lots of character!
The lunch box is made of pressed and rolled metal, 7″ x 8″ x 3 3/4″ deep with a yellow plastic handle and clasp. The front and back of the box are embossed, too. The inside is white. There are dents and scratches from daily wear. The thermos is 6 3/4″ tall x 3 1/2″ in diameter and has more graphic drawings of the movie.

Jeepneys the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. Originally made from left over US Military Jeeps after World War II, they are known for being emblazoned with kitsch decoration.This Philipine-made model car is made of metal and feels like it. Has the license plate with the year of manufacture on it. Very solid body. Some of the parts are missing, including the windshield. The paint and decals have some scratches. The wheels are true and it rolls straight.

This the original classic Star Wars metal lunchbox with a 1977 copyright date, featuring beautifully illustrated scenes and characters from the first movie on all sides, including an X-wing dogfight with Darth Vader on the front. On the back, Obi Wan is performing the classic Jedi mind trick scene in Mos Eisley.. “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.”
C-3PO and R2-D2 are on one side, and a “family portrait” of Luke, Leia and Darth Vader is on the other. The rebel alliance preparing to attack the Death Star on the top, and on the bottom is a stormtrooper riding a dewback. Thermos not included.
The lunch box is made of pressed and rolled metal,6 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ x 4″ deep with a red plastic handle and clasp. The inside is white. There is only a small amount of rust and it’s on the inside of the lid where it contacts the box. There are small dents and scratches from daily wear, but the art is still colorful, strong and not faded.
This is a lovingly used lunch box and treasured by the young rebel alliance member who proudly carried it to school every day.
