CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING
Upon receipt of shipment, if anything is missing or damaged, packing materials and cartons must be held until the freight claim is settled. Claims for items damaged in shipment must be settled with the shipping company (USPS, FedEx, UPS or other shipper). Reps Design is not liable for damages caused during shipping. No claims for items ordered but not received will be allowed unless reported to our office within 7 days of delivery.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Orders are sold “as is” and are non-returnable and non-refundable. Each item is in the condition advertised when shipped, including photographs and written descriptions on the web site. Original warranty, guarantee or replacement coverage promised by the manufacturer of a particular item has expired. As such, Reps Design is not liable for failure, breakage or other issues which may occur after the sale and does not warranty any advertised use or function of a particular product working at the time of sale will continue to work for certainty or of the same quality for any specified length of time. Reps Design is not liable for failure of parts which are not readily accessible such as electronic components, batteries, or mechanical parts. All items are vintage, and should be treated as collectibles!

Each item is clean and stored to preserve it in as original condition as possible. Individual items may have manufacturer imperfections and or minimal shelf wear. These are not considered flaws. Obvious defects or other issues which affect an item’s value are included with the description of the item in an effort to be as transparent as possible. Because items have been collected from multiple sources, Reps Design is not liable for effects of natural aging including previous environmental exposure, which may or may not cause materials such as plastics, fabrics, and papers to change in flexibility, durability, wearability, or strength. Depending on composition, some materials may weaken, become brittle, change color, absorb or gasify odors over time.

Items may have been removed from their original packaging for inspection, battery removal / replacement, and to confirm the item contains all original parts as expected. Items which are in original sealed packaging (ie: blister or window packs) cannot be opened without affecting their value and are sold “as is”, with the assumption the item was functional and complete when originally packaged. Photography and/or videos of item were taken during inspection before being placed in storage.

Items with small parts and/or batteries are not intended for children under a certain age, depending on the item. Safety standards on a particular product are based on the year the item was released to the public and may not reflect current safety standards. Reps Design is not liable for changes in these standards and out of an abundance of safety it is not recommended any item be played with by small children.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ITEMS CONTAINING BATTERIES (if applicable):
Because items are vintage, batteries installed by the manufacturer are obviously past their expiration dates. Older batteries can leak and corrode battery compartments. While some sellers choose to leave original batteries intact, removing the batteries preserves the item and makes it more valuable in the long term.

Batteries which are accessible without damaging or affecting the item or packaging have been removed prior to storage. Items with batteries may have been removed from their original packaging to replace batteries and restore full function to each item. No item seals or package seals have been broken unless noted in an item’s description. Internal batteries are designed to be inaccessible to the consumer and cannot be replaced. Any attempt at battery replacement is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Reps Design makes no warranties, express, implied, or otherwise, regarding product(s), and specifically disclaims any warranty regarding satisfactory of fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Reps Design be liable for any consequential, incidental, direct or indirect damages, punitive or special damages, however caused and on any theory of liability arising from this warranty and sale.
