This is an unused vintage Tonka Truck in like new condition from 2001. It’s a big 14” long and 6” tall. and features a heavyweight stamped metal yellow cab and tilting bed with black molded bumper, wheel flairs and undercarriage. NO RUST, no dents, no scratches or scuffs. The windows are clean and clear. Paint and markings are in great condition right down to the original Tonka decals and chromed Tonka lettering on each of the wheels. Excellent condition for an item two decades old.

1977 Star Wars Original Lunch Box

This the original classic Star Wars metal lunchbox with a 1977 copyright date, featuring beautifully illustrated scenes and characters from the first movie on all sides, including an X-wing dogfight with Darth Vader on the front. On the back, Obi Wan is performing the classic Jedi mind trick scene in Mos Eisley.. “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.”
C-3PO and R2-D2 are on one side, and a “family portrait” of Luke, Leia and Darth Vader is on the other. The rebel alliance preparing to attack the Death Star on the top, and on the bottom is a stormtrooper riding a dewback. Thermos not included.
The lunch box is made of pressed and rolled metal,6 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ x 4″ deep with a red plastic handle and clasp. The inside is white. There is only a small amount of rust and it’s on the inside of the lid where it contacts the box. There are small dents and scratches from daily wear, but the art is still colorful, strong and not faded.
This is a lovingly used lunch box and treasured by the young rebel alliance member who proudly carried it to school every day.

2000 Tonka Rescue 88 Fire Rescue Hummer with Lights and Sound Action

The Hummer is another quality truck in the Rescue 88 Emergency Vehicles series. Like the other models, the Fire Rescue Hummer has lots of bells and whistles! 3 buttons on the side door activate a combination of voice, sirens and horns, loud and clear as the day it was made. The Hummer has a rooftop flashing light bar and flashing headlights. Everything works great! See video below. We’ll even include 2 AA batteries so it’s ready for action!
The body of the truck is made of high grade molded plastic that almost feels like metal, with no discoloring after two decades. Red and white in color with chrome and black accents, based on the original Hummer design acquired by General Motors. Markings on all sides include the famous Tonka logo. This item has been gently played with, but is in great condition for it’s age.
The Hummer Fire Rescue 88 measures 13 1/2″ long, 6″ wide, 5 1/2″ tall. Production markings on the bottom: Funrise 1999, Tonka and Hasbro 2000.

1960’s Japanese Ford Highway Patrol Litho Tin Car

This is a rare vintage battery powered early 1960’s Ford Highway Patrol police tin toy car, made by the Taiyo World Toy Company of Japan. The Taiyo logo is litho’d inside the back window. There are many variations and this one originally had a driving mechanism underneath but it is missing and the battery compartment has partially rusted. The bumpers show a little rust but the majority of the body paint is still intact. A lot of style and class in an oversized vintage tin toy. 12 1/2” long overall. No box.

Transformers are the popular vehicle-into-robot characters today, but GoBots were the original, introduced a year before the first Transformers came out. Tonka bought the line from Bandai, originally Popy of Japan. These are five classic first edition vintage collectables:

Each GoBot is like a puzzle and takes some figuring out to make them work. These are fairly intricate and clever designs, making them very collectable. This set is unnamed, usually referred to as “Robo Series” GoBots.
This set has been used and played with minimally. The Flip Top Helicopter is missing the small rotor and the Flip Top Forklift is missing the console. But otherwise the set is in great shape with original paint and sticker markings.

1990’s Ertl Dow Brands 1/48 Scale Kenworth Trailer Tractor Semi Hauler

This is a rare promotional item from the 90’s. 1/48 scale model Kenworth Trailer, made in the USA in Dyersville Iowa by Ertl. It’s 11 1/2” long die cast and plastic with opening rear doors. This also includes the original stickers on a paper backing with a Dow Brands logo for each door, plus a sticker panel for each side of the trailer featuring Dow Brands such as Spray and Wash, Vivid Detergent, Glass Plus, Fantastik, and more. This was a mail-in offer and not available in stores. Very limited edition. Packaged in the original postal mailer shipping box.

Trick Dog Coin Bank

Reproduction vintage collectable
The Tricky Dog Bank has gone through several versions since the original model sold in the 1930’s. This is a reproduction using the original mold. It’s made of heavyweight cast iron and painted by hand. The whimsical circus design springs to life when a coin is set into the dog’s mouth. Press the lever on the side, and Trick Dog jumps through the hoop and drops the coin in the barrel. Works great, spring is strong. The paint job is in great condition with very little wear for it’s age. No rust, dings or scratches.
The stamp on the bottom says TAIWAN and has a patent number. Includes the original rubber stopper. Take the stopper out to retrieve coins. Trick Dog Bank measures 8 1/4″ x 4″ x 7″ tall and weighs almost 4 pounds! Some other reproductions are a smaller 7″ length.

1960’s Tonka Road Grader No. 975

Made tough to last, Tonka toys This Road Grader measures an amazing 17″ long! It was built entirely in Minnesota at the old Tonka plant. The paint is original- not repainted. It has some rust on the blade and some other surface wear indicating it was played with and enjoyed. It also has the vintage Tonka tires with the older Tonka logo.
