1970’s Brushy the Floating Robot in box
$94.00 $75.20
Year: 1970’s
Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Very good condition robot
First edition vintage collectable
Here’s a novel robot for collectors or just for fun! Brushy the Floating Robot is actually a made up name, because the package says just “Robot” which is not very clever. Brushy is about 5 1/2″ tall, has a radar dish on his head, wheel gears for arms, and a 3 arm wrench on his chest. His most unique feature is his feet. Instead of wheels or legs, Brushy has (let’s say it together) BRUSH for feet! They’re basically bristles like you’d find on a hairbrush. So how does a robot with brushes for feet move? Flip the switch and Brushy starts vibrating and floating around.. See video below.
The box is 3 1/2″ x 3″ x 5 1/2″ and is in good condition, no rips or tears, just some aging and shelf wear.

1986 Revell Space Shuttle 1/144 Model Kit in box
Year: 1986
Manufacturer: Revell – Item# 4911
Condition: Very good condition
First edition vintage collectable
This is vintage model making on a MASSIVE scale! a true collector’s item, this is the 1986 Space Shuttle, manufactured before the Challenger disaster. The kit contains name customization slide-off decals of the entire shuttle fleet, including the Challenger, as well as the Columbia, which also met tragedy 17 years later. The Space Shuttle fleet’s last flight was in 2011, and this incredible shuttle model kit is also a part of history now.
When assembled, the model is a 1/144 scale model of the Space Shuttle, Launch Tower and Shuttle complex, ready for launch from Launch Pad 39 at the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral Florida.
This is a highly detailed kit over 2 feet tall when assembled, with a crawler launch tower, moveable access arms and retracting rotating crane structure. The shuttle has opening payload doors, external fuel tank and dual rocket motors, a moveable Canada robot arm, and more. Detailed instructions for assembly, painting and decal application.
The shrink wrap has never been removed from the box, so the internal contents are still in their original bags. Most of the photos are from other sources, showing the way the box looks when first opened, how it looks unassembled, as well as the fully assembled kit. This kit is unopened and unassembled.
The box measures 20″ x 30″ x 5″. The shrink wrap is a little beat up and torn primarily on the corners, but the printing on the box is in very good shape and preserved from being in a plastic bag most of the last 30 years. The shrink wrap contracted over the years, making one large wrinkle on the front of the box, but it’s unlikely to have affected the contents.

1999 Austin “Danger” Powers Ultra-Cool Action Figure v.2 “Shag” in Package
Year: 1999
Manufacturer: McFarlane Toys
Condition: Mint condition in mint package
First edition vintage collectable
Here’s the “alternate” Austin Powers figure and packaging. Like the other version of this figure, it also made the news in 1999 when some found the text on the package and the randy phrases a little too “adult” for children. There were multiple versions. This one has Austin saying “Would you fancy a shag?” on the front, and includes a sexy dictionary, along with a mirror The martini glass and olive stirrer were very small parts and were removed from this version because of the choking hazard. This is the second version, which was supposed to be more “tame” than the first version, which had Austin asking “Do I make you horny baby, do I?” (see other model by clicking here).
Austin is about 6” tall, and in his original packaging, which is in mint condition. Mike Meyers provides the voice, which is in the base. The tab has never been pulled on either version, so it should speak when removed, but it’s not guaranteed. (Why would you ever open it anyway baby?)

1970’s Space Patrol Rocket Ship with Robot Pilot in box
Year:1970’s
Manufacturer: Metalmania
Condition: Very good condition
First edition vintage collectable
This is a bright, colorful, very cool classic 50’s style spaceship piloted by a classic blockhead style robot. There is no copyright date on the item or box, but it was purchased in 1981, so it’s likely from the 1970’s or earlier. The entire toy is made of lithographed tin, except for a plastic steering wheel and windshield. It’s a “friction” style toy with an internal wind-up motor. Give it a push and it makes a clicking sound as it rolls. The paint job is in very good condition, with some minor wear marks on the nose and one side fin. The windshield is still crystal clear.
The outer box is classic retro artwork, measures 13 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 5″. The box is in great shape, with very minor wear shelf wear mostly on the corners. There are no tears or repairs. Photos are of of actual item. Climate controlled storage and minimally handled. Sold as is. Only 1 available.
