This is the 1980’s version of the Tonka T6. With the backhoe fully extended, this Tonka measures a full 27″ in length! Amazing! It’s mostly metal, with molded plastic front end loader and backhoe. It has all the original paint – not repainted. There’s no rust and only minor scuffs, indicating it was gently played with. It’s in very good condition and will only go up in value.

1993 Ertl Texaco Gasoline Tanker Truck Bank

The Iowa-based Ertl Company has been making collectable toys since 1945. One of their classics is the Texaco Gasoline Tanker, a 1939 Dodge Airflow Truck with 6 wheels.
In 1993, Ertl produced a reproduction of the original and now it’s a desirable collectable too. The truck measures 8 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. It’s made of heavyweight die-cast metal with 6 rubber wheels. It’s got a heavyweight feel and a thick solid paint coat in the classic dark red Texaco color. The top has a coin slot. The key lock and door on the underside are missing.
Classic 1930’s Texaco markings adorn each door and back of the truck. The TEXACO logo is heavily embossed into each side of the tanker. There’s no rust, no dings or dents and the paint job is nearly perfect.

1990’s Lucky Open Convertible MF787

The Lucky Open Convertible is 8 1/2” long with a multicolor paint job, wide whitewall tires and “chrome” accents, all made of tin. Features “Friction Drive” – Push the car on a hard surface and it the engine revs with a clicking noise as it rolls forward. The hood opens up, revealing a cool bonus- a flathead engine with a real working fan on the front that spins when the car moves. The Lucky is in excellent working condition with minor scuff marks. No box.

1983 Tonka Construction Large Dump Truck

This is an original Minnesota made Tonka Construction Large Dump Truck from 1983, before the company merged with Hasbro. It’s a big 14” long and 6” tall with an orange metal cab and yellow bed, metal undercarriage and a molded Chevrolet style bumper. The windows are clear and clean. This Tonka truck shows some signs of play. The paint has some scratches with a little paint missing on the back edge of the truck bed but there are no major dents, only a small one on the hood front. Overall graphics and stickers are in good shape for it’s age.
Note on origin: This is a genuine vintage toy from the original Tonka plant in Mound Minnesota. This specific truck was manufactured, purchased, owned and kept in Minnesota for it’s entire life.

1970’s Space Patrol Rocket Ship with Robot Pilot in box

This is a bright, colorful, very cool classic 50’s style spaceship piloted by a classic blockhead style robot. There is no copyright date on the item or box, but it was purchased in 1981, so it’s likely from the 1970’s or earlier. The entire toy is made of lithographed tin, except for a plastic steering wheel and windshield. It’s a “friction” style toy with an internal wind-up motor. Give it a push and it makes a clicking sound as it rolls. The paint job is in very good condition, with some minor wear marks on the nose and one side fin. The windshield is still crystal clear.
The outer box is classic retro artwork, measures 13 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 5″. The box is in great shape, with very minor wear shelf wear mostly on the corners. There are no tears or repairs. Photos are of of actual item. Climate controlled storage and minimally handled. Sold as is. Only 1 available.

2000 Tonka Rescue 88 Fire Rescue Hummer with Lights and Sound Action

The Hummer is another quality truck in the Rescue 88 Emergency Vehicles series. Like the other models, the Fire Rescue Hummer has lots of bells and whistles! 3 buttons on the side door activate a combination of voice, sirens and horns, loud and clear as the day it was made. The Hummer has a rooftop flashing light bar and flashing headlights. Everything works great! See video below. We’ll even include 2 AA batteries so it’s ready for action!
The body of the truck is made of high grade molded plastic that almost feels like metal, with no discoloring after two decades. Red and white in color with chrome and black accents, based on the original Hummer design acquired by General Motors. Markings on all sides include the famous Tonka logo. This item has been gently played with, but is in great condition for it’s age.
The Hummer Fire Rescue 88 measures 13 1/2″ long, 6″ wide, 5 1/2″ tall. Production markings on the bottom: Funrise 1999, Tonka and Hasbro 2000.

Jeepneys the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. Originally made from left over US Military Jeeps after World War II, they are known for being emblazoned with kitsch decoration.This Philipine-made model car is made of metal and feels like it. Has the license plate with the year of manufacture on it. Very solid body. Some of the parts are missing, including the windshield. The paint and decals have some scratches. The wheels are true and it rolls straight.

Each GoBot is like a puzzle and takes some figuring out to make them work. These are fairly intricate and clever designs, making them very collectable. This set is unnamed, usually referred to as “Robo Series” GoBots.
This set has been used and played with minimally. The Flip Top Helicopter is missing the small rotor and the Flip Top Forklift is missing the console. But otherwise the set is in great shape with original paint and sticker markings.
