This is a rare promotional item from the 90’s. 1/48 scale model Kenworth Trailer, made in the USA in Dyersville Iowa by Ertl. It’s 11 1/2” long die cast and plastic with opening rear doors. This also includes the original stickers on a paper backing with a Dow Brands logo for each door, plus a sticker panel for each side of the trailer featuring Dow Brands such as Spray and Wash, Vivid Detergent, Glass Plus, Fantastik, and more. This was a mail-in offer and not available in stores. Very limited edition. Packaged in the original postal mailer shipping box.

The Hummer is another quality truck in the Rescue 88 Emergency Vehicles series. Like the other models, the Fire Rescue Hummer has lots of bells and whistles! 3 buttons on the side door activate a combination of voice, sirens and horns, loud and clear as the day it was made. The Hummer has a rooftop flashing light bar and flashing headlights. Everything works great! See video below. We’ll even include 2 AA batteries so it’s ready for action!
The body of the truck is made of high grade molded plastic that almost feels like metal, with no discoloring after two decades. Red and white in color with chrome and black accents, based on the original Hummer design acquired by General Motors. Markings on all sides include the famous Tonka logo. This item has been gently played with, but is in great condition for it’s age.
The Hummer Fire Rescue 88 measures 13 1/2″ long, 6″ wide, 5 1/2″ tall. Production markings on the bottom: Funrise 1999, Tonka and Hasbro 2000.

Jeepneys the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. Originally made from left over US Military Jeeps after World War II, they are known for being emblazoned with kitsch decoration.This Philipine-made model car is made of metal and feels like it. Has the license plate with the year of manufacture on it. Very solid body. Some of the parts are missing, including the windshield. The paint and decals have some scratches. The wheels are true and it rolls straight.

1990’s Lucky Open Convertible MF787

The Lucky Open Convertible is 8 1/2” long with a multicolor paint job, wide whitewall tires and “chrome” accents, all made of tin. Features “Friction Drive” – Push the car on a hard surface and it the engine revs with a clicking noise as it rolls forward. The hood opens up, revealing a cool bonus- a flathead engine with a real working fan on the front that spins when the car moves. The Lucky is in excellent working condition with minor scuff marks. No box.

1970’s Space Patrol Rocket Ship with Robot Pilot in box

This is a bright, colorful, very cool classic 50’s style spaceship piloted by a classic blockhead style robot. There is no copyright date on the item or box, but it was purchased in 1981, so it’s likely from the 1970’s or earlier. The entire toy is made of lithographed tin, except for a plastic steering wheel and windshield. It’s a “friction” style toy with an internal wind-up motor. Give it a push and it makes a clicking sound as it rolls. The paint job is in very good condition, with some minor wear marks on the nose and one side fin. The windshield is still crystal clear.
The outer box is classic retro artwork, measures 13 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 5″. The box is in great shape, with very minor wear shelf wear mostly on the corners. There are no tears or repairs. Photos are of of actual item. Climate controlled storage and minimally handled. Sold as is. Only 1 available.

1965 Tonka Car Truck Carrier Transporter

In the mid 1960’s, it was still common to have real steel toys made in the USA. This vintage 1965 Tonka Car Truck Carrier Transporter is an American classic. Steel 18 1/4” long toy truck, made in Mound, Minnesota. It’s a two piece design with tractor cab and fleet carrier. Very good condition with only minor scratches. The fifth wheel (a plastic U shaped piece) is missing. Also missing are the original metal ramps. Otherwise it’s in great shape and the painted steel looks very good for being over a half century old.

1984 Tonka Stony Brothers Load Handler Dump Truck

This is a rare find! There are other Tonka Stony Brothers Trucks for sale, but most are rusty, dented, and well worn. This is an unused Tonka truck in brand new condition! And it’s a genuine Tonka, produced before the company was bought out by Hasbro, so it’s built with classic Tonka features.
The dump truck is based on a Chevrolet design. It’s a big 15 1/2” long, 7 1/2” tall and it’s in almost perfect condition with all original parts. There’s NO RUST, no dents, no scratches or scuffs. The body and tilting bed are made of heavy gauge stamped metal, with molded front bumper and flair trim. It’s complete including the tailgate with stamped Tonka logo. The front bumper features a chromed Chevy logo. The windows are clean and clear. Even the undercarriage is in like new condition. All original markings on the truck are in excellent shape, including decals. The truck features soft vinyl 2 piece tires and has a working steel dump box with opening and closing tailgate.
Note on origin: This is a genuine vintage toy from the original Tonka plant in Mound Minnesota. This specific truck was manufactured, purchased, owned and kept in Minnesota for it’s entire life.
