Transformers are the popular vehicle-into-robot characters today, but GoBots were the original, introduced a year before the first Transformers came out. Tonka bought the line from Bandai, originally Popy of Japan. These are five classic first edition vintage collectables:

Each GoBot is like a puzzle and takes some figuring out to make them work. These are fairly intricate and clever designs, making them very collectable. This set is unnamed, usually referred to as “Robo Series” GoBots.
This set has been used and played with minimally. The Flip Top Helicopter is missing the small rotor and the Flip Top Forklift is missing the console. But otherwise the set is in great shape with original paint and sticker markings.

AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL PUBLICATION FROM 1977
Original book with set of sixteen fantastic designs you can transfer to any fabric. Kid and adults everywhere wore these t-shirts in 1977 and beyond. Condition is good, however, the images have transferred slightly, causing a ghosting effect to the backs of some of the other transfer pages, but they’re still all there in original vibrant colors.
(Disclaimer: These are 40 year old iron-on transfers from the ’70s. Using these as working iron-ons is not recommended and is highly doubtful to transfer as originally intended.) But the art is still crisp and clean and classic STAR WARS. Only one book available.
1993 Fred Flintstone Talking Plush mint in box

You can’t get much more vintage than caveman times! It’s the one and only hilarous John Goodman as Fred Flintstone from the original live action 1993 movie. Cuddly and soft, 15 1/2” tall Fred is wearing his classic sabertooth caveman outfit with blue tie and not much else. Yabba Dabba Doo! Fred says four phrases: “Wilma!”, “Down Dino Down!”, “Yabba Dabba Doo!”, and “Barney You’re My Best Pal.” This is not a pull-string, and requires one AA battery.
The box is 18” x 9” x 4” and in excellent condition. The edges of the packaging look rough in the photos, but the graphics were created that way on purpose for an authentic “prehistoric” look. Steven King is a big fan of Famous Monsters of Filmland, a magazine he says changed his life. Several issues of Famous Monsters were dedicated to the original 1977 Star Wars movie including full color covers. Plus, each issue contains really cool stories and photos from hundreds of other sci-fi movies including Close Encounters to Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. Plus lots of great ads for offers including masks, makeup and much much more for STAR WARS and other sci-fi / monster movies of filmland!
Each FM is 8 1/2″ x11, packed full of 50 to 132 pages of amazing photos and stories. Published by Warren. Also includes a Science Fantasy Winter 1977 issue with lots more STAR WARS photos and stores. All together a STAR WARS / monster mash oveload! Only one copy of each available and then they’re gone! Sold as a set of 5.

This is the first series of 6” action figures from the first Toy Story movie. Push the button on Quick Draw Woody’s back and his arm pops up. Comes complete with his hat and lariat. Detailed painting makes this a very collectable item.The blister pack backer card measures 8 3/4” x 12” card in mint condition and has never been opened.

1999 Austin “Danger” Powers Ultra-Cool Talking Action Figure v1: “Horny” in Package

Yeah baby! It’s the one and only Austin Powers, nearly naked with a chest full of curly hair. Wearing only Union Jack underwear, Austin is totally shagadelic! This toy made the news in 1999 when some found the text on the package and the randy phrases a little too “adult” for children. There were multiple versions. This one has Austin saying “Do I make you horny baby, do I?” on the front, and includes a sexy dictionary, along with a mirror, a martini glass and olive on a stirrer. The martini glass and olive stirrer were very small parts, and removed from later versions because of the choking hazard. A second version was made with different phrasing (see other model by clicking here).
Austin is about 6” tall, and in his original packaging, which is in mint condtion. Mike Meyers provides the voice, which is in the base. The tab has never been pulled on either version, so it should speak when removed, but it’s not guaranteed. (Why would you ever open it anyway baby?)

1993 The Flintstones Movie Fred & Barney Figures- Set of 3 in packages

This is another Fred and Barney set featuring actors John Goodman and Rick Moranis as Fred and Barney. Fred is now Junior VP at Slate & Co., and dressed in his Big Shot outfit. He comes with a red power tie, Wilstone golf club bag, a golf club and parrot cell-phone. Barney is in his filling station outfit with his work hat, dyno-wrench and octopus squeegee. This set includes a bonus 3” miniature Big Shot Fred.
Like the other set, the packaging looks like chiseled rock. The clear bubble packaging makes it look like the characters are frozen in an ice glacier. Very cooool! Packaging is in great shape and has very minimal corner bending on the bottom corners. Larger packages measure 10 1/2” x 7 1/2” x 2” and the small one is 7” x 5” x 1 1/2”.

This is an original set of Toy Story Kids Meal Figurines from Burger King.These were to promote the original Toy Story video release. Includes 6 of the 8 figurines, with doubles of 2 of the figurines, for a total of 8 pc. The combo photo shows two of the items (Scud the dog, and the Alien) which are not included in the set.
– Woody has a lasso controlled by a thumbwheel on his back and his arms and legs are poseable. This item is sealed in package.
– Buzz Lightyear has a button on his back- press it to hear space laser sound. His arms and legs are poseable. The package is sealed, and the laser sound still works, but the battery is low. It might be replaceable.
– Hamm has a coin sticking out of his slot. Push it down and Hamm rolls across the table! This package is open and does not include a slipsheet.
– Slinky Dog is a windup. He rolls forward and his spring stretches! There are 2 of this item, one package is open, one is sealed.
– Stroll ’n’ Scope Lenny is a windup and his eyes roll around in his binoculars! There are 2 of this item, one package is open and one is sealed.
– Bo Peep is a spin-top. Wind her up and she spins round and round! This package is open.
