The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame opened in Cleveland Ohio in 1983 and became an instant icon. These two Snow Dome water globes were purchased from the Gift Shop at the RRHOF. One is from 1996, the other from 1998. One globe features the Hall of Fame with the Cleveland cityscape in the background, and the other features the Hall of Fame on it’s own. Globes measure 3” tall by 3 1/4” di. and rain glitter when shaken. They are individually numbered in a series; one of 10,000 and the other is one of 25,000. Both come with their original boxes.
Boxes measure 3 1/2” x 3 1/2” x 3 1/4” tall and are in very good shape, with a small portion of the imprint missing where the price tag had been removed.

Artisans use hand tools to skillfully carve blocks of sustainable Indian Rosewood into fine treasures. This art form requires mastery to create the intricate carving and inlay work. The box is 5.75″ x 5.5″ x 1.5″.

1988 Pee-Wee’s Playhouse Set mint in box

This is a very rare find and a Paul Reubens masterpiece, a magical blend of toy, art, and just plain fun! This is the set from the late 80’s, early 90’s TV series “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse” on CBS. The vintage playset is printed cardboard sealed inside clear plastic, similar to playsets of the 50’s and 60’s. The walls fold out and suddenly you’re in Pee-Wee’s Playhouse!
Big 20” x 28” x 7 1/2” play area. Complete with all parts in perfect condition, including Pee-Wee’s scooter with flag, “Floory” the pop-up floor, “Clockey” with hands that turn, “Mr. Window” with a mouth that moves, “Dancing flowers” that can really dance, a working front door, fridge and swinging wall. Also includes platforms, island couch, tv console, kitchen table and bench. Original clear plastic bag holding parts has been discarded, otherwise it’s complete.
The Playset comes complete with a GIANT unused 12 1/2” x 26“ sticker sheet for decorating the set as well as an original instruction sheet for putting it all together. If you want to play on the go, just snap shut the Playhouse (with real metal snaps), grab the carry handle and your Playhouse is portable!
The packaging is as much a work of art as the playhouse. A giant 12” x 27” x 7 3/4” in size, covered in photos and fun artwork. It is mint condition except for the handwritten code in the upper right corner Toy’s R Us wrote on each box(!) on the store shelves in 1988. Photos are of of actual item. This is another Fred and Barney set featuring actors John Goodman and Rick Moranis as Fred and Barney. Fred is now Junior VP at Slate & Co., and dressed in his Big Shot outfit. He comes with a red power tie, Wilstone golf club bag, a golf club and parrot cell-phone. Barney is in his filling station outfit with his work hat, dyno-wrench and octopus squeegee. This set includes a bonus 3” miniature Big Shot Fred.
Like the other set, the packaging looks like chiseled rock. The clear bubble packaging makes it look like the characters are frozen in an ice glacier. Very cooool! Packaging is in great shape and has very minimal corner bending on the bottom corners. Larger packages measure 10 1/2” x 7 1/2” x 2” and the small one is 7” x 5” x 1 1/2”.

Colorforms go way back to 1951, and in 1995 the Toy Story version helped revive the popularity of this classic activity toy. The inside of the box has a scene from the Toy Story movie of Andy’s bed and is the background for using the Colorforms. 13 peel and stick reusable cling characters from the movie are on a 6 5/8” x 7 1/2” sheet. Simple and basic, vintage Toy Story!

This is a rare Barbie from 1992 released as a dual promotion with Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, when mac and cheese only came in a paper box. Consumers collected box top “points” to send away for Barbie. She was the highest valued premium at 220 points, which meant eating a lot of boxes of macaroni and cheese!
Still in the original mailer box and never removed from her custom packaging, 12” tall Barbie is decked out in early 90’s fashion to the max! Her outfit includes a floppy hat emblazoned with the Kraft logo, red vest and Cheeseasaurus Rex shirt with matching arm sleeves and skirt, blue leggings, red tennis shoes and a purse. The shoes and her hairbrush are still in their original sealed package. Totally tubular! This is a one time limited promotion featuring this unique Barbie.
