1999 Austin “Danger” Powers Ultra-Cool Action Figure v.2 “Shag” in Package

Here’s the “alternate” Austin Powers figure and packaging. Like the other version of this figure, it also made the news in 1999 when some found the text on the package and the randy phrases a little too “adult” for children. There were multiple versions. This one has Austin saying “Would you fancy a shag?” on the front, and includes a sexy dictionary, along with a mirror The martini glass and olive stirrer were very small parts and were removed from this version because of the choking hazard. This is the second version, which was supposed to be more “tame” than the first version, which had Austin asking “Do I make you horny baby, do I?” (see other model by clicking here).
Austin is about 6” tall, and in his original packaging, which is in mint condition. Mike Meyers provides the voice, which is in the base. The tab has never been pulled on either version, so it should speak when removed, but it’s not guaranteed. (Why would you ever open it anyway baby?)

1991 Super Soakerman in box

Millions of Supersoakers have been sold since 1990. This is a hard to find Soakerman and the first Supersoaker to depart from the traditional gun design. Soakerman’s arms and legs are articulated and his head turns. The water is pressurized by pumping Soakerman’s head up and down a dozen times or so, and he’s ready to go. He’s 9 1/2″ tall and extends to 12″ with the head pump up. He’s armed with his own classic Supersoaker that shoots a strong solid blast of water by pressing the trigger on his right bicep. The box is 12″ x 8″ x 2 1/2″ in very good condition, printed in vivid bright early 90’s colors. Soakerman is strapped into the box in his original restraints. We dare you to set him free! Item was removed from original packaging to put in batteries and for photography.

2004 Lord of the Rings Battle Scenes in Box

From J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings film trilogy “Rise the Armies of Middle-Earth”. Shelob’s Lair is meticulously detailed giant spider lair, complete with scattered bones of her previous victims. This put-together 3D diorama comes complete with all parts molded from a heavyweight plastic. Includes Frodo and Sam detailed figurines.
The box is in very good condition, with a small dent on the front lower portion of the box, and minor shelf wear on the corners. The box measures 13” x 10.5” x 4”. Includes original instruction sheet. The twist ties holding some of the pieces to the box have been removed, but otherwise the set is complete with all parts, including Sam’s sword.

This toy made the news in 1999 when some found the text on the package and the randy phrases a little too “adult” for children. There were multiple versions. This one has Austin saying “Do I make you horny baby, do I?” on the front, and includes a sexy dictionary, along with a mirror, a martini glass and olive on a stirrer. The martini glass and olive stirrer were very small parts, and removed from later versions because of the choking hazard. 1995 Toy Story Colorforms Play Set in Box

Colorforms go way back to 1951, and in 1995 the Toy Story version helped revive the popularity of this classic activity toy. The inside of the box has a scene from the Toy Story movie of Andy’s bed and is the background for using the Colorforms. 13 peel and stick reusable cling characters from the movie are on a 6 5/8” x 7 1/2” sheet. Simple and basic, vintage Toy Story!

1992 Barbie Doll Special Edition by Kraft in Box

This is a rare Barbie from 1992 released as a dual promotion with Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, when mac and cheese only came in a paper box. Consumers collected box top “points” to send away for Barbie. She was the highest valued premium at 220 points, which meant eating a lot of boxes of macaroni and cheese!
Still in the original mailer box and never removed from her custom packaging, 12” tall Barbie is decked out in early 90’s fashion to the max! Her outfit includes a floppy hat emblazoned with the Kraft logo, red vest and Cheeseasaurus Rex shirt with matching arm sleeves and skirt, blue leggings, red tennis shoes and a purse. The shoes and her hairbrush are still in their original sealed package. Totally tubular! This is a one time limited promotion featuring this unique Barbie.
