1940’s- 50’s Snow White Carnival Chalkware Figure
Year: 1940’s, 1950’s
Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Very good condition figure
1st edition vintage collectable
To be honest I’d never heard of carnival chalkware until I saw this item at an estate sale. The date is unknown, but most carnival chalkware was made in the 1940’s or early 50’s. The statue has a primitive painted look on purpose, and is decorated with glitter, making it a unique variation.
Snow White is unmarked, so she’s probably not a licensed product based on the Walt Disney animated film, but instead a statue made for giving away as prizes. It’s a big 15″ tall by 5 1/2″ wide. Snow White has lost just a little of her glitter, (haven’t we all), but overall is in very good shape for it’s age, with no cracks or chips and the semi-glossy paint job is still bright and nicely done for a collectable originally given away at a carnival.

1960’s Little Pine Tree Car Freshener Display loaded with Original Product
If you went in to most any gas station or convenience store in the 1960’s or 70’s, this display was probably hanging on the wall. Everyone recognized the “little green tree” air fresheners. Fun vintage artwork suggests placing them in your bathroom, kitchen, closet or office. However, most of them were probably hung from the rear view mirrors of automobiles and trucks.
This is a great store point of purchase display. It is in excellent condition. It measures 18.5″ x 14.5″. The finish is still glossy, like new, and amazingly it has most of the original product still on the display. The display is more than a half century old but smells like it was just made!
Most people don’t realize there are 6 different colors and “scents” on the display to choose from (although it’s a good bet they’re all made with the same pine scent).
4 green trees with “forest fresh” scent
4 red trees with “spice” scent
2 yellow trees with “spring magic” scent
2 orange trees with “apple blossom” scent
7 dark green trees with “royal pine” scent
2 blue trees with “bouquet” scent

1960’s 14 1/2” Snoopy Stuffed Plush
Year: 1960’s
Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Very good condition
First edition vintage collectables
It’s a late 1960’s Snoopy stuffed plush. Stuffed animals were often the grand prize item in games of chance by traveling carnivals of the day. Everyone remembers seeing this stuffed Snoopy (or trying in vain to win one) but very few survived the last half century, probably because of the “giveaway” nature of this rare Snoopy. This Snoopy was won at a traveling carnival in Minnesota in the 1960’s. The plush material is still nice and soft and the slight off color white helps lend to it’s authenticity as a vintage collectable a half century old.

1970 Talking Crissy Pull String Doll
Year: 1970
Manufacturer: Ideal Toy Corporation
Condition: Good condition
First edition vintage collectable
Some girls loved Barbie, but just as popular in the 1970’s was the Crissy doll. The Crissy doll was made by Ideal Toy Corporation from 1969 to 1974. She was wildly popular because of her unique ability to “grow hair” with a push of a button on her tummy, and shorten it with a twist of a knob located on her back. Crissy was designed to be much larger than Barbie, too, at 18” tall. This Crissy is wering her original green flower dress. This model was made in 1970. The date on her head is 1969, which is the date on all Crissy heads from 1969 to 1972.
This Crissy does not come with her wardrobe. See our other Crissy doll if you want the wardrobe.
Crissy says 12 phrases randomly when her string is pulled. The voice works but is not perfect. See the video below to hear the voice.
“Hi, I’m Crissy!”
“Let’s have a party.”
“Brush my hair please.”
“Please dry my hair.”
“Make my hair short.”
“Make my hair long.”
“My hair grows.”
“I love you”.
“I’ve got a secret.”
“I like to dress up.”
“Set my hair please”.
“Velvet talks too.”

1970’s Brushy the Floating Robot in box
Year: 1970’s
Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Very good condition robot
First edition vintage collectable
Here’s a novel robot for collectors or just for fun! Brushy the Floating Robot is actually a made up name, because the package says just “Robot” which is not very clever. Brushy is about 5 1/2″ tall, has a radar dish on his head, wheel gears for arms, and a 3 arm wrench on his chest. His most unique feature is his feet. Instead of wheels or legs, Brushy has (let’s say it together) BRUSH for feet! They’re basically bristles like you’d find on a hairbrush. So how does a robot with brushes for feet move? Flip the switch and Brushy starts vibrating and floating around.. See video below.
The box is 3 1/2″ x 3″ x 5 1/2″ and is in good condition, no rips or tears, just some aging and shelf wear.

The entire toy is made of lithographed tin, except for a plastic steering wheel and windshield. It’s a “friction” style toy with an internal wind-up motor. Give it a push and it makes a clicking sound as it rolls. The paint job is in very good condition, with some minor wear marks on the nose and one side fin. The windshield is still crystal clear.
The outer box is classic retro artwork, measures 13 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 5″. The box is in great shape, with very minor wear shelf wear mostly on the corners. There are no tears or repairs. Photos are of of actual item. Climate controlled storage and minimally handled. Sold as is. Only 1 available.
1970’s Litho Tin Play Toys Set of 2
Year: 1970’s
Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Good to very good condition
Vintage collectables
A pair of tin play toys, one a wind up and the other a squeeze-style action toy. They are lithographed tin, probably made by the same company. The pair of wrestlers has a “Made in India” sticker on the underside. Squeezing the U shaped piece under the two wrestlers causes them to rock back and forth. It’s a simple but clever idea. 5 1/2” tall x 3” wide. The chicken has a key to wind it up. Remove the key, set the chicken on a flat surface and he starts hopping. The chicken is 1 1/2” tall x 2” wide. There’s a little paint missing where the two wrestlers rub against each other but they both work great!

1974 Young Frankenstein Laser Disc
Year: 1974
Manufacturer: 20th Century Fox
Condition: Good condition
First edition vintage collectable
The laser disc was cutting edge 1970’s technology. For the first time, an ENTIRE movie fit on a thick metal disc inside a 13” square plastic cartridge. One disc is made from more metal and plastic than a dozen iPhones! The disc was built to last forever. Unfortunately technology changes and if you have a laser disc player, it’s getting hard to find movies to play on it.
Now you can own and watch the official LD release of the classic Young Frankenstein movie starring Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, Terri Garr, Kenneth Mars and Madeline Kahn. Filmed in glorious black and white, this homage to horror movies was written and directed by the one and only Mel Brooks, mastermind behind The Producers, Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, Spaceballs, and many other movies. Probably Gene Wilder’s best performance. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 94.

The poster has been in storage since 1975, and when unfolded it had a few small tears where the folds meet but can be easily mounted flat. Mounting will also increase it’s value. Year: 1977
Manufacturer: Ideal
Condition: Very good condition
First edition vintage collectable
Ideal Toy Company manufactured the original Mr. Machine as a kit which could be assembled by kids. Unique for it’s time, Mr. Machine was made of injection moulded plastic, a new technique which allowed manufacturers to produce parts quickly and less expensively, including a clear body.
In 1977, Ideal re-issued Mr. Machine as an assembled toy. This is the first generation assembled version, with parts riveted together. It has a copyright date with the patent number stamped into the plastic. Mr. Machine stands just under 18″ tall and is in great shape. His wind-up key works and he rolls forward with a squeaking and whirring noise as his internal gears spin around. Cog-a-riffic! Mr. Machine is a clever, well designed toy that looks great sitting on the shelf or rolling across the floor! It’s a one of a kind toy and there aren’t many working ones left out there.

1977 Star Wars 1st Edition 12 Original Action Figures with Millennium Falcon
Imagine waking up Christmas morning in 1977. The biggest movie of all time, Star Wars had come out over the summer and what everyone wanted for Christmas was Star Wars toys. You tear open your presents, and SCORE! The Star Wars logo! But wait a minute, what’s this? It’s only a piece of cardboard, a sheet of stickers, an invitation to join the Star Wars Fan Club, and something called an “Early Bird Certificate”. What’s going on here? Where are the toys? Is Santa ripping me off?
If you’re like me, Christmas 1977 was kind of disappointing, because there were no Star Wars figures yet, no Luke, Leia, Han or Darth Vader. That’s because there was no guarantee Star Wars would be a hit, and by the time a deal was struck with Kenner Toys, there wasn’t enough time to make toy molds for Christmas 1977. Instead, Kenner gave kids a PROMISE of toys, if you mail in your “Early Bird Certificate”. And even then, when they finally showed up, you only got 3 figures at a time. It took forever to collect them!
The good news is you don’t have to go through all that trouble, because I collected them for you. This is the set of 1st Edition Star Wars figures that were promised with the Early Bird Certificate Kit. The kit is long gone, but here are the figures, mostly all original, with some reproduction weapons to replace those lost over time. Princess Leia’s cape was lost so she’s wearing a reproduction, but other than that the figures are all original and have the 1977 copyright date molded in. See the list below.
Also original is the 1st Edition Millennium Falcon, made in 1979, the first year made by Kenner. It’s in great shape, with a little wear on the sticker markings. The original cockpit canopy was lost at some point, as was the radar dish and the interior floorboards, but they’ve been replaced with reproductions. The original sound works too, and we’ll include 2 “C” batteries so the Falcon will be powered up and ready to set a new record for the Kessel Run!
The Millennium Falcon is nearly 2 feet long: 21”long x 15” wide x 9” tall from landing gear to the radar dish and turret guns. Also included is a two sided 11″ x 17″ reproduction of the original instruction sheet. If you want to see additional photos of any of the figures or the Falcon, just let us know and we’ll send them to you.
Here is the description of the figures, as stated on the original 1977 ad:
12 authentically designed figures in realistic STAR WARS costumes. All have moveable parts, scaled to fit inside STAR WARS Space Vehicles.
• Sand People (3 3/4”) in sand fighter costume with Gaderffii Stick
• See-Threepio (3 3/4”) in shining gold finish
• Death Squad Commander (3 3/4”) with Laser Rifle
• Han Solo (3 3/4”) with Laser Pistol
• Chewbacca (4 1/4”) with Laser Rifle
• Princess Leia Organa (3 3/4”) has a removable cape and Laser Pistol
• Luke Skywalker (3 3/4”) with action Light Saber
• Artoo-Detoo (2 1/4”) with movable legs and head that “clicks”
• Darth Vader (4 1/4”) with action Light Saber and removable cape
• Stormtrooper (3 3/4”) with Laser Rifle
• Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi (3 3/4”) with action Light Saer and removable cape
• Jawa (2 1/4”) with shining eyes and Laser Gun

1977 STAR WARS Marvel Comics #1-10
Year: 1977 and 1978
Manufacturer: Marvel
Condition: Very good to near mint condition
1st edition vintage collectables
AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL SERIES PUBLISHED IN 1977 AND 1978
First edition vintage collectables – Not reproductions
In 1977, the very first Star Wars comics were released. The ones you see here were purchased from the local drug store in my tiny southeastern Minnesota hometown. We knew which day comics were delivered, so we were able to get the very first issues. I collected the first 10 issues. I read them once, and they went into collector sleeves, into my closet and into the past. I opened them up recently and scanned the covers. You can see they’re in near mint condition. No tears, scratches or other damage. The corners are all clean and unworn and have been stored in plastic pouches. Fantastic shape for comics printed 40 years ago.
#1-6 illustrate the Star Wars original story faithfully from beginning to end. These are the original issues as they were printed in 1977 by Marvel- not reprints. I only have one of each and they’re gone.
BONUS: Buy issues 1-6, and receive issues #7-10 FREE! Issues #7-10 do not follow the storyline of the sequals / prequels, but are an interesting spin-off of the STAR WARS franchise.

When assembled, the model is a 1/144 scale model of the Space Shuttle, Launch Tower and Shuttle complex, ready for launch from Launch Pad 39 at the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral Florida.
This is a highly detailed kit over 2 feet tall when assembled, with a crawler launch tower, moveable access arms and retracting rotating crane structure. The box measures 20″ x 30″ x 5″. The shrink wrap is a little beat up and torn primarily on the corners, but the printing on the box is in very good shape and preserved from being in a plastic bag most of the last 30 years. 1989 Vintage Disney Mickey Mouse AT&T Phone
Year: 1989
Manufacturer: AT&T Item CS2881D109
Condition: Near mint condition
First Edition Vintage collectable
It’s the first-ever phone with a built-in mouse! It’s the one and only Classic Mickey Mouse Phone by AT&T. It comes from an era when phones were big and solid and didn’t need to be updated regularly. Mickey stands a full 14 1/2″ tall and the base measures 10 1/2″ x 14 1/2″ and it will stand out in any room.
This is an early “Made in China” item from AT&T, when only a few items came from China and quality control still mattered. The sculpting and paint job is well done, and all parts have vintage AT&T quality fit and finish. It is in excellent shape compared to most similar Mickey Mouse phones from that era. Both Mickey and the handset are clean and shiny and look unused. The numbers light up on the handset. The handset has a normal / loud switch, and can be switched from dial to touchtone, so it works perfect on any land line. The cord and wall cord are both original and also look new, and the label area to write phone numbers is original and untouched.
Mickey has been plugged in and tested. The sound is loud and clear, and works great. It has that classic, reliable Bell sound. It’s a well made vintage conversation piece and will stand out in any room.
