Here’s another controversial toy, with the likeness of one of the most reviled figures in modern history. It’s the 13” Osama Bin Laden posable figure, one of the first action figures created post-911 by Herobuilders. Bin Laden wouldn’t be caught for another decade and the idea of an “action figure” was repulsive to many following in the wake of 911. This is Bin Laden in a white turban and salt-and-pepper beard. He’s dressed in a fully sewn camouflage fatigues with pocket flaps, and black army boots. No box.
