Hardee’s helped fuel the trend of giving away a toy with food purchase back in the 1980’s and it all started with the California Raisins. The giveway was hugely popular with adults as well as children. This is a set of 4 original limited edition Raisins, each one still sealed in their original poly bag. Anita Break has her hands full from shopping, including a bag with the Hardee’s logo. Alotta Stile is jamming with her boom box, Benny is wearing his bowling gear, and Buster is stylin’ with his skateboard! Each figure is about 2 1/2” tall and brightly painted. Each collector card is 3 1/2” x 2 1/2” and printed front and back and tells the story of each character.

From J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings film trilogy “Rise the Armies of Middle-Earth”. Shelob’s Lair is meticulously detailed giant spider lair, complete with scattered bones of her previous victims. This put-together 3D diorama comes complete with all parts molded from a heavyweight plastic. Includes Frodo and Sam detailed figurines.
The box is in very good condition, with a small dent on the front lower portion of the box, and minor shelf wear on the corners. The box measures 13” x 10.5” x 4”. Includes original instruction sheet. The twist ties holding some of the pieces to the box have been removed, but otherwise the set is complete with all parts, including Sam’s sword.

1998 Austin Powers Poseable Talking Figure in Box

Women want him… men want to be him… he’s the International Man of Mystery! And now you can have the one and only Austin Powers Talking Action Figure! This figure was released to coincide with the first Austin Powers movie. Austin is looking totally shagadelic in his blue velvet suit, ruffle shirt, horn-rim glasses, male symbol necklace, pistol, and Union Jack underwear! He even has a hairy chest, and oh, those teeth! This is an amazingly detailed figure and fully poseable arms and legs. 9” tall figure standing on a 1” base with a speaker.
Mike Meyers provides the original voice for 4 of his favorite sayings: “Very shagadelic!”, “Smashing baby!”, “Oh, behave!”, “Yeah, baby!” and can be played without removing Austin from his groovy pad. Very rare and very collectable.
Austin’s “package” is impressive as well, a full 12 1/2″ tall x 6″ x 3″ and covered in a psychedelic explosion of colors and photos of Austin, Dr. Evil, and one of the Fembots. Mint condition. It’s a Curious George pop-up style classic musical toy. No motors, no microchips, just good old fashioned mechanical engineering. Turn the handle to play Pop Goes the Weasel. Then, just like a classic jack-in-the-box, a plush Curious George pops up! Push him back in and close the lid to start the fun again! 5 3/4” x 5 3/4” x 6 1/2” metal box with classic Curious George art on each side. Works perfectly. No dents or scratches.
The outer packaging is in almost mint condition, with a slight crease in the cardboard lid and a small corner ding on the bottom back of the package. 5 1/2” x 6 1/2” x 6”.

1999 Austin “Danger” Powers Ultra-Cool Action Figure v.2 “Shag” in Package

Here’s the “alternate” Austin Powers figure and packaging. Like the other version of this figure, it also made the news in 1999 when some found the text on the package and the randy phrases a little too “adult” for children. There were multiple versions. This one has Austin saying “Would you fancy a shag?” on the front, and includes a sexy dictionary, along with a mirror The martini glass and olive stirrer were very small parts and were removed from this version because of the choking hazard. This is the second version, which was supposed to be more “tame” than the first version, which had Austin asking “Do I make you horny baby, do I?” (see other model by clicking here).
Austin is about 6” tall, and in his original packaging, which is in mint condition. Mike Meyers provides the voice, which is in the base. The tab has never been pulled on either version, so it should speak when removed, but it’s not guaranteed. (Why would you ever open it anyway baby?)
